Egg Roll in a Bowl

A healthy, quick, and easy recipe. Bonus points for gluten and dairy free.

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 TBS ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper or saracha sauce to taste
  • 1 pkg broccoli slaw
  • 1 pkg shredded carrots
  • 3 TBS honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce substitute tamari or coconut aminos


  • Heat sesame oil in 10" or larger skiller.
  • Brown ground turkey and remove from pan when cooked.
  • Add more oil if needed and brown garlic and ginger.
  • Add broccoli slaw and shredded carrots. Cook until tender.
  • Add ground turkey to slaw mixture.
  • Add soy sauce, honey, ground red pepper (or siracha), and salt and pepper (to taste).
