Have you ever been to a Favorite Things Party? Jen and I attended one last week! Each woman was asked to bring their favorite thing, under $30, whatever that may be. It was so fun to see the variety of items and hear people talk about why they chose to bring that gift. We love nothing better than sharing good finds, so we thought we would share the Favorite Things list with all of you! Gifts ranged from blankets to vitamins to beauty products! We think you will discover some great gift giving ideas or maybe add a few items to your own wish list!

Favorite Things Beauty
First up are all the items that fall in the beauty category. I’m pretty sure our skin will be glowing, we will look 10 years younger, and our lashes will be longer than ever with the glowing recommendations these products received!
M-61 Facial Peel: an instant facial that resurfaces, clarifies, and helps firm the skin for a radiant, renewed glow. Sounds amazing!
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara: a fan favorite and budget friendly!
Elina Organics CBD Wrinkle Filling Serum: a local skincare spa that creates award winning organic products just introduced a new CBD Ageless line. The woman who brought this said she noticed an immediate difference in her skin. Just the name, “wrinkle filling”, has me sold.
OPI Lincoln Park Walk in the Dark Nail Polish: love this color for winter!
Benefit Gift Set: 3 favorites in one set – a great bronzer, eyebrow gel, and mascara!
Bobbi Brown Lip Tint: If you aren’t a huge lipstick wearer, you will love this lip tint! It gives a hint of color and has a great shine. Jen brought this gift and she has turned me into a fan, too.
Wet & Wild Lip Liner: Apparently, this liner goes with everything and stays on! And with a $3 price tag, it’s worth a try!
Menuka Honey: Jen brought this item and swears by it. It helps irritated skin, but has a million other uses too. Jen even uses it as a face and hair mask. Read all the reviews and you will be sold on the magic Menuka honey!
Baby Lips: a favorite chapstick! This would make a great stocking stuffer!
Tinkle Razors: Like a DermaPlane facial in your own bathroom. These are great to slough off old skin and remove fine hairs. I didn’t bring these, but I have loved them for years! One friend mentioned they are also great for teen boys that have facial hair, but not enough for a big ole’ razor.😂
Lumify Eye Drops: the best eye drops on the market. These give your eyes a brighter look, even if you don’t suffer from red eye.
Trader Joe’s Grapefruit Sugar Scrub: TJ’s beauty aisle is a little known secret – they have some great items!
Lush Bath Bombs: a true indulgence is a bath with a Lush bath bomb.
Lush Sleepy Lotion: put this sleepy lotion on after a bath and say goodnight!
Makeup Brush Cleaning Pad: This pad suctions to your sink and gets your makeup brushes clean in no time. Jen received this and she’s lucky I didn’t steal it! Sounds like a must have for clean brushes and healthy skin.
Hair Ties: Everyone that uses these raved about them. They prevent breakage and stay on. They also don’t leave a crease.
Hair Turban: Not just for teens! Hair turbans help keep your hair healthy and speeds up the drying process.
Honorable Mention Beauty Products
The beauty product gifts sparked conversation of other favorites so I wanted to make sure to give these a shout-out, too!
Thrive Mascara: several ladies had tried this and had rave reviews. It is a lash lenghtening mascara and comes off in clumps, meaning it doesn’t smear at all while wearing.
L’Oreal Volumnous Mascara: a budget mascara that works.
Nojmuk: another magic cream for all kinds of things!
TanLuxe: sunless tanning drops you combine with your face moisturizer!
PiperWai: An all-natural deodarant that works! As seen on Shark Tank.
Beauty Counter Oil: your daily radiance boost! Ladies at the party were raving about this one.
Beauty Counter Resurfacing Peel: A Beauty Counter customer favorite! I personally use this and noticed results immediately. Great if you like glowing, brighter skin.
Favorite Things Non-Beauty
Ritual Vitamins (Essentials for Woman): Our friend swears by these! She said she feels the best she has felt in years and has more energy. (um, yes please!). Reading about these, I am definitely intriguied. I like that it only contains essential nutrients, not vitamins we are already getting enough of from food. It looks like these used to be available on Amazon, but I could only find them via the Ritual website. Although it is subcription based, you can cancel at anytime and even try a month for free.
Calvin Klein Comfort Bra: You know the Barely B’s were all over this! Our friend said this is the most comfortable bra and prevents what we call “cup gapping.” We have a blog post all about it (read about it here) because we found an Amazon bra that helps with that. But, you know I already ordered the Calvin Klein bra and the v-neck option! It sounds like it works for all cup sizes and I liked that it has removable pads.
Petals & Postings: a local boutique that offers an on-line shop for the cutest paper products, notebooks, stationary, and gift items you’ve ever seen. If you’re local, make sure to check out their new location on Westnedge. The on-line shop has some really cute things like this Camp Craft Cocktail. So fun! The unique items and excellent customer service make this a fun place to shop! They will wrap your gifts, make killer custom baskets, and go out of their way to please! Petals & Postings has offered our readers a 10% off discount with code BARELYBS on-line or if you visit, mention our name! #supportlocalbusiness
Buffalo Check Clutch:the adorable buffalo check clutch at the party was from a local boutique, Tulips. While they don’t have an online shop, they are happy to ship orders! This one isn’t quite as cute as the one from Tulips, but it will do the trick. The plaid one is really cute, too.
FOOD Cookbook: contains great recipes that support a healthy lifestyle.
Voluspa Candle: a quality candle that smells so good!
Goodr Sunglasses: Several of the ladies at the party were raving about these $25 polarized sunglasses. Available in a ton of colors, they are super lightweight and especially good for exercising. Amazon carries them, also, but most colors are sold out.
Travel Jewerly Case: This travel jewerly case keeps your jewelry organized and safe. The woman that brought it said her favorite feature is the straps that keep layered necklaces from tangling.
Victoria Emerson Bracelet: Love all the Vicotoria Emerson bracelets, but this one is extra special because it’s named after our town! These make great gifts!
Pottery Barn Throw Blanket:I have too many blankets said no one ever! Bonus that this one is so pretty – love the plaid! Just throw it over a chair for an easy holiday vibe. (*I received this and love it. Thank you, Ang!)
Cheese Guillotine: An easy way to slice cheese! First let me say that this is not the exact item brought to the party. The cheese slicer at the party was one of a kind from Amsterdam and was a beautiful wood board. But, this Target one is the same concept and pretty darn cute too! This would be such a cute hostess gift or gift for someone who loves to entertain.
Ghiradelli Chocolate: Would it even be a Favorite Things Party without some good chocolate?!
Recap
I will take one of everything, please! If you haven’t been to a Favorite Things party, you should host one! It’s a ton of fun and everyone comes home with a great gift. You also get tons of great gift ideas! It’s also always so nice to spend an evening with girlfriends!
