Confession, my Halloween decor has been lacking the last few years. When the kids were younger, I would go all out and the home would be decked out with skeletons, skulls, and monsters galore. My entire front porch would be decorated and I would even decorate the front door to look like Frankenstein, it was awesome! As the kids grew older and we became busier with after school activities, my passion for Halloween decorating dwindled. I would decorate for Fall and call it good. My now 10 year old son really got the short end with this. He has been begging me the past 4 years to decorate for Halloween and he isn’t counting the mums, white pumpkins, and birch logs as Halloween decor! (If that’s more your style, check out my Fall Home Tour post!) He finally convinced me and last Saturday I let him hop on Amazon to choose a few Halloween decorations for our front yard. Thanks to Amazon Prime, several of our items arrived the very next day (still blows my mind!) and my little buddy and I got to decorating. It was SO easy, not expensive, and made my boy happy so I wanted to share it with all of you. Even my too-cool-for-school teenagers thought the Halloween decorations were pretty neat! Check out these quick & easy to decorate your home for Halloween!
Outdoor Halloween Decorations
Hands down the best decoration we ordered was this giant spider web. While we did have to get out a ladder, we already had a hook on the house from Christmas lights so this was up in less than 10 minutes. I wasn’t sure if it would last, but we have had wind and rain the past few days and it still looks good! It comes with cobweb stuff you can add to it, but that was kind of a pain so we skipped that step. I think it looks just as good without the cobwebs. You don’t have to add the giant spider, but we couldn’t resist this big guy and think he adds a nice touch! The eyes glow red and look pretty sweet at night.
Amazon Prime to the Rescue
The rest of these decorations, my son and his friend put up for me. They had a blast and I think they did a great job! These little signs are cheap and the boys thought they were really cool. I was impressed with the graveyard they set up and I found Target has 2 day shipping and the price is extremely reasononable. I’ve always loved these witch legs sticking out of flower pots for Halloween. Keeping with the cheap and easy theme, these paper bats add a nice touch and even come with dot tape to hang them up. Caution tape is another really easy and inexpensive way to add a Halloween touch, inside or out.
