We are headed to see the Lumineer’s in Chicago this weekend – sooo excited! Do you listen them? They are an American folk rock band based out of Denver, Co and you might recognize some of their more popular songs like “Ho Hey”, “Stubborn Love”, “Ophelia”, and “Cleopatra.” They put on a great live show and we love their music. Give them a listen, The Lumineers station on Pandora is a good one.
It’s always hard to decide what to wear to a concert. You want to look cool (because, Hello, concert!), but you want to be comfy (because, Hello, dancing!). Because it is February in Chicago, I also need to factor in staying warm. When I was coming up with an outfit, I saw lots of different price points for things I was looking at. It inspired me to do a Spend vs. Save on what to wear to a rock concert. You won’t believe some of these Save options!

Cute Tee-Shirt
Everybody loves a great rock band tee, but it’s especially nice to have for a concert! If you don’t have a rocker tee, a plain tee can definitely work, too. In fact, I’ve worn a white tank to several summer concerts.
Black Moto Jacket
If the weather is cooler, a motorcycle jacket is the perfect layering piece! Moto jackets are a closet staple! It ups the “cool factor” of any outfit.
Faux Leather Pants/Distressed Jeans
For your bottoms, faux leather pants or distressed jeans work. In the summer, a cute pair of cut-off shorts do the trick. For this look, I went with faux leather pants. I have the spendy AG pair, but man does that Save option look good! They are definitely worth a try if you’re in the market!
White Sneakers
You can’t have better dancing shoes that a pair of comfortable sneakers! Luckily, the retro sneaker trend is in right now, so a pair of cute white sneakers looks super stylish. If you’re looking into the spend sneakers, read our review post on Golden Goose Sneakers!
Accessories
Keep your accessories simple. A black knit cap gives a cute hipster vibe. Maybe throw in a cool bracelet and call it good!
