It is a fact that summer is my favorite season, which means I tend to have lots of warm weather clothes, even though I live in Michigan! Because of that, I always have a hard time deciding what to pack on a warm weather vacation! Here is what I settled on for our Cabo San Lucas vacation (read trip recaps here and here).
As soon as I received a 20% Anthropologie insider coupon, I splurged on this dress! I couldn’t stop thinking about it after a dressing room try-on session and it did not disappoint! The past couple of years I have splurged on one summer dress for the season and have always felt like a million bucks in it. You would be surprised how many opportunities you find to wear something you love. This brings down the cost per wear which can help you justify spending more than you typically would!
I absolutely love the earrings too. Under $15 from Amazon! I have sensitive ears, but these did not irritate them at all and they are super lightweight. Click here for a round-up of summer Amazon earrings!
I also packed my favorite cut-off jean shorts. These are a staple and are perfect to throw on for breakfast or lunch or to wear with a bathing suit. Something about the material of this Michael Stars tank makes it very flattering for the Barely Bs. LOOOVE these big buckle Birkenstocks, they are a summer staple for sure!
SWIMWEAR
Here are two new swim suits I packed on the trip. They are both flattering for Barely Bs and we also talk about them in our Barely B Bathing Suit Round Up.
You can’t lose with this Amazon beach cover-up. GREAT DEAL!
ROMPER LOVE
I wore this adorable and comfortable jumpsuit on the airplane and also to lunch one day. This is a new closet favorite!
Love the romper trend and this one is perfect for all shapes and sizes! Great for packing because the material does not wrinkle. I love that is has a small snap at the v to make sure these barely b’s don’t flash anything!
MIX AND MATCH BASICS
I always pack white jeans on a warm weather vacation. Love my AG white jeans and the more affordable Articles of Society jeans. Pair with a classic seersucker top or any summery tank! These can be mix and matched with your jean shorts to save room in your suitcase, too!
