4TH OF JULY FASHION FOR THE FAMILY

I don’t know about you, but the 4th of July might just be my family’s favorite holiday. There is no pressure of presents, roasting a turkey, or family get-togethers. It’s all about barbeques, sunshine, and family fun! It’s fun to get everyone in the spirit with 4th of July fashion too! There are so many fun and affordable choices for the entire family!

4th of July Traditions

We have a tradition of visiting South Haven, MI, a small resort town located on Lake Michigan in Southwestern Michigan. South Haven is the cutest little tourist town. There are tons of biking trails and we love that we can walk or ride our bikes right to town for ice cream! We will make sure we hit up the Farmer’s Market, the local movie theater, and fun boutiques.

All of that is fun, but the kids’ favorite tradition is the firework show that takes place on July 3. The town collects donations all year and the show rivals the big cities. #imho :). On July 4th there is a good old-fashioned small town parade to put you in the patriotic spirit! The kids load up on candy that is thrown from all the floats and the local realtors pass out American flags to everyone. My favorite part is cheering on all the veterans that march in the parade.

4th of July Family Fashion

The other part I secretly love about the 4th of July is everyone in my family likes to represent with a little red, white, and blue 4th of July fashion. I’ve rounded up some great options for everyone in the family, even the teens (thank you Champion and Under Armour for making this so easy!). Many of these picks are from retailers that offer free overnight or 2 day shipping so plenty of time to arrive before the big day. And, please, someone, buy the Native stars and stripes shoes and send me a pic. I’m dying over how cute they are!
