Mending “The Gap” – introducing the Bra Cover!
You need a Bra Cover! What the WHAT?!
The GAP (and I’m not talking about the store)
When I put my bra on in the morning it always fits great and my boobs look full, with almost a hint of cleavage. By the time I make it out the door and to my first destination of the day, “ The Girls” begin to adjust and I get the THE GAP. THE GAP is the annoying space between your boob and your bra. I always say that once I gave birth and nursed my three kiddos, I lost my top boob. Haha! My favorite was when my kids were little and I carried them on my hip, I would look down and they would be holding on to my bra gap like the “ oh shit” handles in your car.😂
I’m Not an A Cup!
Friends told me that maybe I’m an A cup and not a B cup, or that I need to go down to a 32 not a 34, or that I have just not found the perfect bra. I have tried it all and nothing helps! Anyone else feel my pain on cup gaping? Well, you can all lower your hands now because I’m about to add a “Barely B” staple to your closet.
Introducing… my new fav… the Second Base bra cami!
THIN STRAP | THICK STRAP | RACERBACK
Looking at the photos above you may wonder, “ Why would I need that if I am already wearing a bra?”. Well, let me tell you why. This is a lightweight item that is worn over your normal bra that smooths everything out and prevents the display of The GAP, or even worse, a little sneak peek of a nip when you bend over (not shown below. lol).
Bring on the thin summer shirts !
Until I found the second base bra cami, I would wear tank tops under my clothes to help smooth out all the unwanted lines. That works for some tops, and especially in the winter months as an added layer of warmth. But in the Spring and Summer months the added layering is not needed and can be annoying. The bra cover solves that problem! It is also great to wear under work shirts or wrap dresses if they dip a little lower than what is office appropriate.
Add it to your wardrobe today!
P.S. I’m wear a SM in all styles and for reference, I am a 34 B bra size.
